Stampin' Up! Thinking of You Gorgeously Made Offset Gatefold Card

I had a play making an offset gatefold card because I could. Sometimes it is nice to just make a card without needing it for a class or a blog hop. I used Masterfully Made DSP, Gorgeously Made stamp set and Gorgeously Made dies.
Did you know that the Masterfully Made DSP has words from the Stampin' Up! statement of the heart in amongst the floral images?

Stampin' Up! Artistic Dies Thinking of You Card

Today, we have week two of the colour creations blog hop. We have returned to the traditional blog hop like a circle, for this new round so we hop you enjoy blog hoping round to everyone's blog. You may have found me via Diane Furniss' blog. If not that's ok! Hi and welcome! 
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, balmy blue. A colour from the subtles family. 
I have chosen balmy blue, night of navy and granny apple green from the colour coach to work from this week. 


For my card today, I begun with a paint chip inspired background and used a die cut from the lovely artistic dies as my main feature. I heat embossed the sentiment on night of navy cardstock to continue with the navy from the paint chip background. I decided to make my card a thinking of you card so it could be an any occasion card. It could be for a birthday, get well soon or even a sympathy card in a pinch. I coloured the rhinestone basic jewels with a night of navy stampin' blend so they would colour match my card.
