Stampin' Up! Christmas Card with Perfectly Plaid Stamp Set and Tidings of Christmas DSP

Tonight I am joining some fellow demonstrators on a Christmas blog hop. We aim to bring you Christmas inspiration every Monday evening right through to Mid December!

I am using the Tidings of Christmas DSP again today for my weekly Christmas card because it is still on sale at 15% off (for $17.00) until August 2nd. I also used one of my favourite simple designs to create a quick and easy Christmas card mixed in with perfectly plaid stamp set and wish for everything stamp set. 


Close up - I popped up the stitched so sweetly dies, the pine tree punch and along with the sentiment with stampin' dimensionals. 


Inside card -  I used pine tree pine and perfectly plaid stamp set with a wish for everything stamp set and word wishes dies.

Stampin' Up! Sailing Home Masculine Monday Birthday Card

For today's Masculine Monday card, I have used a retired designer series paper, but the following current products, sailing home stamp set and smooth sailing dies, stitched so sweetly dies and two products on the last chance list, itty bitty birthdays (sadly sold out) and classic label punch. 

Onto my card, like I mentioned, I've used a retired DSP it's come sail away and used a card sketch I've used before for today's card. Featured on these thank you cards. Today's card came together pretty easily and I am loving the stash of male cards I am gathering. I inked all the DSP before I adhered it in place, and raised the die cuts and sentiment up with stampin' dimensionals. I also added in some faux resin dots for bit of added extra embellishments (I'd normally use bling but I didn't feel bling would work on this card!)


Inside card - I decorated it with Happiest of Birthdays, my favourite birthday stamp set and more of the DSP at the base of the card

Stampin' Up! Designer Series Paper Card Bases

In this months (March's) techniques class, we used designer series paper for the card base and it's a perfect way to work through your stash of DSP!

Stampin' Up! Just to Say Hello Corner Bouquet Card

I used the corner bouquet (sale-a-bration free stamp set) to create todays card. I set the larger corner stamp up in my stamparatus and stamped the stamp in one corner of my misty moonlight cardstock (in misty moonlight ink) and then rotated the cardstock 180 degrees and re-inked the stamp and stamped the cardstock again. This was a very quick and easy card to make as all I had left to do was stamp the sentiment and die cut it out and assemble the card (and I did stamp the inside panel of my card before I unmounted the stamp. It is stamped in sahara sand ink.

Stampin' Up! You Are Amazing Birthday Card

Our thirty seventh colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "pretty peacock" from the 2019 - 2021 in colour collection. I have chosen pretty peacock, flirty flamingo and daffodil delight from the colour coach to work with today for my creation and I have also added in granny apple green.

I have made a striped background using strips of cardstock (in various widths) and adhesive sheets to hold the strips in place. I used the stitched so sweetly dies and happy dies to decorate the card front along with the you are amazing stamp set. A quick and simple card front yet it's bold and fun!


Inside card - I used the approaching perfecting stamp set stamped in memento ink

Colour Creations #22 - Just Jade

Our twenty second colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "just jade" from the 2020 - 2022 in color collection. I have chosen just jade, shaded spruce and calypso coral from the colour coach to work with today for my creation. 
I have created a layered background thank you card featuring the forever fern bundle, which comprises of forever fern stamp set and forever flourishing dies. I've stamped my leaf images in just jade and granny apple green and I've added in shaded spruce die cut leaves along with gold foil and calypso coral elements. I've also used the flowers for every season DSP, peaceful moments and massive thanks stamp sets. I used the Subtle 3D embossing folder on my whisper white background for some added texture before beginning all my layering. I've also added in some of my faux resin dots in gold and I popped up my thank you sentiment on stampin' dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Thank You Cards featuring Peony Garden Designer Series Paper

On Saturday October 3rd, it was World Cardmaking Day and I spent the day making Thank You Cards for my customers who placed orders in September.
I did 5 different patterns with the Peony Garden designer series paper (DSP) I liked and make multiples of those designs. 
I will admit, I used some retired DSP to make a mock up sample first as I can sometime be a little precious and have trouble cutting into my DSP and don't want to mess it up or waste it. Do you have this problem as well?
Once I was happy with my mock up, it was easy to cut into my Peony Garden DSP as I knew exactly when I was doing. Plus, I now have a spare card to add to my stash.

Colour Creations 2020 #4 - Blackberry Bliss

Our fourth colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "Blackberry Bliss" from the regals collection. I have chosen blackberry bliss, gorgeous grape and balmy blue from the colour coach to work with today for my creation. 
Here is my blackberry bliss card from 2018. 

I personally find blackberry bliss a hard colour to work with (actually many of the regal colours!) and it is not a colour I use often!  In fact, my blackberry inkpad is still stiff and "new" to open which shows how little i actually use it. That is the best thing about these colour creations blog hops, it is challenging us to use colours we often shy away from.

Onto, todays card! I again used the best plaid builder die like I did last week but this week I made a thank you card. I do however think my colour combination would make a great masculine card (minus the bling!) as a shirt with the best plaid builder die or something like that. 
I have popped my plaid panel up on dimensions on my card base along with my sentiment. I used blackberry bliss and gorgeous grape stampin' write markers and the direct to rubber technique to colour my sentiment along with the massive thanks stamp set. 


Inside card - More of the massive thanks stamp. I think it is a very versatile thank you stamp set. I own other thank you stamp sets but I can see this particular set getting a lot of use in my cards and at classes.

Stampin' Up! Flowering Foils Speciality DSP Card

Sale-a-bration is almost over! There is just over two days to go! Don't wait as products are while stocks last.
Today I watercoloured the flowering foils speciality DSP with classic stampin' ink refills and aqua painter on a clear block. I used flirty flamingo and lovely lipstick for the flowers with granny apple green ink refill for the leaves. 
After I had stuck the card together I had realised I hadn't colour the centre of the flowers in (opps!) so I scribbled in the centres of them with daffodil delight light and dark stampin' blend markers. (I didn't want to wet accidentally wet any layers of my card!)


I didn't have any granny apple green ribbon (shock horror!) but the whisper white crinkled seam binding ribbon in the January - June 2020 Mini Catalogue fixed my problem when I paired it with the granny apple green dark stampin' blends marker! I had the perfect ribbon to finish my card off.

Stampin' Up! Happy Birthday To You, Same Same But Different

Today, I have two cards to share with you and I am calling them, "same same, but different".
They both use the same stamp set (happy birthday to you [sale-a-bration free stamp set]) and designer series paper (parisian blossoms speciality designer series paper) but I have switched the main two colours around, pool party and petal pink on each card.
