Stampin' Up! Gingerbread & Peppermint Christmas Card

Tonight I am joining some fellow demonstrators on a Christmas blog hop. We aim to bring you Christmas inspiration every Monday evening right through to Mid December!

For my card today, I CASED a card from the mini catalogue. I was short on time with the kids at home, doing online schooling and juggling many other things all at the same time.  
Here's the card I cased (from the July - December 2021 mini catalogue, page 8 ©2021 Stampin' Up!®.)


and my version: 


I choose coloured "cookies" for my wire cooling rack and fussy cut them out as I didn't purchase the stamp gingerbread dies and placed basic rhinestone jewels in the centre of each cookie to mimic silver cachous/sprinkles. I raised the "Merriest Christmas" sticker (from the Memories and More card pack) on stampin' dimensionals for added interest. I also used watered down whisper white ink refill (and a paintbrush) to create splatters on my real red cardstock to mimic flour/icing sugar/royal icing.

Stampin' Up! Heart of Christmas #15 2018

Welcome to our final week of Heart of Christmas blog hops for 2018. 15 weeks have gone by rather quickly haven't they? Like the past few weeks, I again have another Santa's Workshop card featuring the memories and more card kit to share again this week. I am sure I mention this week after week, these cards come together quickly and easily which is what you want when putting together lots of Christmas cards.

This card is a 4" x 6" I trimmed down and matted and added a heat embossed sentiment to and some stickers from the card kit. I used stampin' dimensionals to pop the stickers up for an added wow factor. A small amount of inking on the coastal cabana "sky" portion of the card and the card is all completed apart from adhering it all together! Pretty quick and easy, didn't I tell you?

Stampin' Up! Heart of Christmas #14 2018

Today I have another quick and simple card to share. I am only just home from Orlando and still getting back into the swing of things. I have use the large letters for the "H" in and Ho Ho Ho. A quick snip with paper snips to shorten the letters and it has completely changed the look of them, hasn't it?

Stampin' Up! Heart of Christmas #13 2018

While this post is live, I am in Orlando ready to attend the 3 day On Stage live event celebrating Stampin’ Up!’s 30th birthday. As I didn’t have a lot of time for creating before I left, I decided to CASE a card to keep things quick and easy. I have CASED a card from the incentive trip display from the recent Alaska cruise (creator unknown) that Claire shared on her blog.
I barely changed a thing from the original card except for a piece of crumb cake cardstock!

Stampin' Up! Heart of Christmas #12 2018

Today I have a Z fold card to share featuring the Santa's workshop memories and more card pack. Not only are they fabulous for pocket style scrapbooking but they also make some quick and easy cards. I love the simple bling of the striped background paper on the "z" fold panel and the extra wow it brings to the card. There is absolutely no stamping on todays card at all either, the Merry Christmas sentiment is a sticker I used from the card pack that I have popped up on stampin' dimensionals.

Stampin' Up! Memories & More Monday #4

Today I am sharing January 8th - 11th of my 2018 album. 
On January 8th, my daughters went and saw Pitch Perfect 3 with friends and I forgot to ask the girls to take a photo for me. Thankfully, replicating the ticket on the computer (as I didn't have that either) and downloading a movie poster was a great way to remember the event.

Stampin' Up! Memories & More Monday #3

Today I am sharing January 7th my 2018 album. It was my mum's 60th birthday and while we took lots of photos, they ones I want to remember the most are the ones with my immediate family and the one with all the guest. I have a sheet of vellum between the two photos in the album with a short description about the day and all the names of relatives. This is a great way to add information without adhering anything to the photo.
