Stampin' Up! Simply Zinnia Dies Mother's Day Card

I celebrated Mother's Day with my mum yesterday and this is the card I made her. I hadn't actually used the Simply Zinnia Dies before I made this card but I loved playing with them. Watch out for more cards featuring the dies soon.

I embossed the background of the azure afternoon cardstock with the Zinnia 3D embossing folder and using a variety of the Simply Zinnia Dies with to create my card. The adhesive sheets made creating this card very easy as all my die cuts have the adhesive on the back. I inked the edges of all my die cuts for definition and the sentiment is from a kit called Sentimental Rose and on a die cut from Nested Essentials Dies

Stampin' Up! Attention Shoppers Cut and Flip Card

Hi, we are starting a new round of colour creations blog hops and I am trying to get back into the swing of my weekly colour creations cards again. 
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, peach pie.
If you remember, from previous years I like to work with the color coach Stampin' Up! provides to add a challenge to my card creations.


This week, I have chosen peach pie, calypso coral and misty moonlight from the colour coach to work with. 

I have created a cut and flip card, I cut a section off the front of the card and I rotated that cut off piece 90°and adhered it back in place onto the card as the panel the shopping trolley/cart sits on and also has a faux silk panel for texture. On the flap I adhered a piece of Peach Pie Unbounded Beauty DSP which matched really well with the calypso coral cardstock. To bring in more misty moonlight onto my card, I added in card flap under the shopping trolley/cart. It is also a great place to put a gift card once the card is fully opened up (if I choose at a later date). I did choose to leave my card with no sentiment, although a birthday sentiment would work great with this card but I feel leaving it blank means if you need to cheer someone one up, this card is perfect.

Stampin' Up! Adventurous Sky Corner Flip Birthday Card

My youngest daughter turned 17 yesterday and part of her birthday present she got a gift voucher for a trial introductory flight. Of course I had to use Adventurous Sky bundle from the upcoming 2024 - 2025 Stampin' Up annual catalogue. Stampin' Up! Pretty Pleats 6" x 6" Inked Botanicals Card

The inked and tiled punches made fun, quick and easy punched shapes for the front of the card especially when paired with Inked Botanicals DSP. I also used a sponge dauber to make the multi coloured flower which is from the Inked and Tiled stamp set (which I also used on the inside of the card and to decorate the envelope).  
I also used the Inked Botanicals DSP for the pretty pleats inside my card.

Stampin' Up! Delightfully Eclectic This or That Card with Last Chance Products

I made another set of This and That cards using Delightfully Eclectic DSP, artistically inked stamp set and timeworn type 3D embossing folder. All products on the last chance list. I am very sad to see them all go to be honest (among a few others) but we have some other products coming in the new catalogue that have cheered me up.

The card with the fresh freesia cardstock is my favourite but I made the DSP only version first and was happy with it (until I made the second version!)
