Making Merry Monday #34

Finally, my long awaited card for the conclusion of the October Making Merry Monday. How is everyone going with their Christmas card stash? I have a lovely pile that need addresses and hand written messages in them. Honestly, I find that to be a lot more work than making the cards, go figure!

Since it has taken me a while to get around to finishing October's cards, I will not be making any Making Merry Monday cards for November. That is not to say I won't be making anymore Christmas cards! Makign Merry Monday will return in February 2011.

Making Merry Monday #34

Sorry for not having a card to share today but after my surgery on Friday my wrist is in a plaster cast and throabs if it is not in a sling or elevated and on pillows. I am spewing as I can't create and I am having withdrawals, but the card will be up soon to complete the October ornament punch series.

The kids are back at school/kinder today (woo hoo) and I am feeling quite tired myself (might have had something to do with staying up till 1am reading the final book in the girl with the dragon tattoo triology.)

Being a new month I have a new theme. This month, the theme is the ornament punch....

Sorry this is another late post... I couldn't find my point and shoot camera this morning (and my dSLR is in the shop) so I was tearing apart (and cleaning) my children's room's looking for it (only to find it had been pushed off my computer desk and was beside my motherboard)... This is what my helpful three year old did with supplies on my craft desk while I was looking for the camera.

Should I be at all concerned about the near perfect circle she cut on her own???

It's beginning to become a bad habit this late Making Merry Monday, I spent most of yesterday in bed with a migraine and then again some more time in bed today.

Hopefully, tomorrow finds me with no headaches or migraines!

Yesterdays Making Merry Monday had a false start. I sat down to make the card many times. I even stamped an image and played with it doing "this and that" and nothing was working. You'd think after a months break, I'd be super fresh and keen as mustard. I am certainly keen as mustard but am also waiting for lots of new product to arrive. As Stampin' Up! demonstrators, we could pre-order a small selection of product. I am so thankful we could get some goodies early, but I am also super greedy and want it all now!
