MMM

I actually have no card to show you today as I have finished sending my Christmas cards and still had some spares!!! I am however using the free time today to make some progress on my december daily album. I have almost completed my first page. I will share when I have a few done.

I have decided to continue with my MMM next year. I will, however be taking a break during January and will resume MMM in on the 1st Monday in Febuary. In the new year, I will be offering instructions files each month for the cards I have made, similar to the 12 days of Christmas pdf I offered this year in November (which are still available if you'd like to purchase them).

Todays card is a CASE. It has been made by a few people and has certainly changed somewhat along the way but those that I have CASED it from are Sam Post (who incidently found my blog and did her own take on my Christmas Elf), Chat, a lady who's username is Mothermark and her friend "Judy".

I wish you could see this card in real life. I am loving the textures on it. I can promise you, you will see it again in some form.... * Just a little hint of something I am working on for next year *

Summer mini catalogue creations - Day 7 & MMM #27

I must have been having a thing for circles this morning when I came up with these two cards. A good thing that the circle scissors plus and glass mat are in the Summer Mini catalogue. If you don't already own a circle cutting system, I recommend you give the circle scissors plus a try.

Making Merry Monday #26

Making Merry Monday again! LOL, just kidding, I really love making Christmas cards. Today's two card's are my last creation using products from the current Spring Mini catalogue. Orders can be made up until 9pm this evening to purchase anything from the mini. Today is the last day products are available from it.

ATC punch art swap

In our team forum a fellow SU demo (Nikki Saddler) is hosting a ATC punch art swap. Of course I had to join in. I mean, come on, well all know how much I love my punch art.

Now what I am showing you is NOT my ATC for the punch art swap. I will share that when I have others so that it is a surprise to all in the swap. This is just another one I made mucking around instead of making 9 other swaps... LOL nothing like putting off the repetitive work at times!

One thing I do love about this ATC is it can be used as an ATC or as a Christmas gift tag as well. Duel purpose, even better in my book!

Making Merry Monday - Guest card maker

Todays Making Merry Monday card is brought to you by a guest card maker. My eldest son Josh (6). He made this card this morning while I was at the doctors and I just had to share including the wording he wrote inside and the pictures of our family.

We had a terrible night at my house last night with Nat, Drew and I up with a bug. Nat and Drew are doing fine now but I am still icky and now Josh has caught it. Luckily I kept the kids home from school and kinder today as it is obviously going around my house but while I was at the doctor's one of the children unlocked out study and grabbed my craft sisters out. We now have a half length vertical blind in our kitchen. Of course, the kids are all blaming one and another with Bella being the main focus. Only thing is, she can't work scissors very well and certainly can't cut in a straight line.

MMM #24

Here we are at a Monday again so soon. I am a little glad it is Monday as yesterday the kids were fighting and bickering a fair portion of the day. To top that off I had to try and keep them quiet as DH was home sleeping from night shift. At least the house is a little more peaceful this morning with Josh off at school. Nikki is supposed to be at kinder but we have a case of head lice... Grrr...

Speaking of Nikki she just made a strawberry smoothie and brought me in a cup and when I said "thank you" she said "your welcome" and left the room... Gotta love it when they use their manners...

Anyhow, onto today's card.

I have used the riding hood striped grosgrain ribbon from the spring mini catalogue. I love how Christmas-ey it looks and will be said to see the spring mini finish at the end of this month. Positive note, there is a summer mini with some cool stuff in it to replace all the others that won't be available come December 1st.

Todays card is based of one a fellow demo received from a Secret Sister a while ago. I loved the design. I don't know who made the card so I can't give appropriate credit.

MMM #23

Time for yet another MMM. Monday's sure come around fast especially when I am working on my 12 days of Christmas projects as well.

Today's card is quite similar to another one I made for a MMM previously. I wanted to get another stampin' session in with the Season's Surfin' stamp set before it is unavailable come December 1st.

Making Merry Monday #22

Finally back with a MMM after a few weeks absence... It felt a little strange not having a card for the last two Mondays but I simply ran out of time before I went away. Home now and trying to settle back into my "normal" routine.

Todays card uses non traditional colours and not a single Christmas product at all! I was challenging myself! Many of the products on today's card are from the Spring Mini catalogue which has 30 days left until the products aren't available anymore. Making Merry Monday #21

Here again so fast. Today's card is an explosion card that we made at my most recent workshop on Friday. Now, I haven't done a workshop in a LONG time and I had forgotten how much fun it was for both me and the attendees. It was a blast and one of the lovely ladies booked another workshop so I will be seeing many of the same smiling faces in a few weeks time.
