Project life - week 8

After a very long break in working on my project life (other than taking photos and writing journaling weekly) I finally finished another weekly spread.

Project life: week 6

I was telling myself I couldn't get more than two weeks behind and we are almost starting week 10, (as I still have 6 month of my last album to catch up on). I was struggling big time with this week 6 spread. I think it is because so many of the photos have the kids in school uniform and I didn't want the whole week to be full of navy and maroon...

Project Life: Week 5

Week 5 already? The weeks are coming around fast and my album is looking bright and lively as we get further and further into it. This week I've included a calendar for January with notes about appointments, activities etc. On the back side, I've included my kids height, weight and shoe size (taken every 3 months since they were born).

Project life: week 4

We had a few gem's this week including some interesting comments from our eldest daughter (see below). This week also included an insert. I've photographed it all together and separate so you can see it all. My youngest got her first pair of glasses this week and I've included her script on the page as well (great for when she has her eyes tested next and we can see if there is any changes in her vision.)

Project life - week 3

I'm really enjoying getting the weeks completed quickly after each week is over and sharing it. Not to mention the kids love seeing photos fill up the album and love having more and more pages to turn as time goes on.

Project life - week 2

Another week completed already! The days sometimes blend into one and another around here with the kids still on school holidays until early Feb.

This week documents my trip to the hospital, a birthday party for the girls, face painting, making cookies, gardening and lots more. I have included a copy of the invite the girls recieved to the above mentioned birthday party for two reasons. 1. Helps with the memory and 2. It makes it a lot easier to find parents phone numbers when trying to arrange play dates and also stops the kids searching for the phone numbers.

Project life - week 1

It's taken me a few days to finish the week 1 spread, but it is finally completed after a few days. I loved that I managed to get a few stamped images on some of the cards. Scroll down for the close up of the game spinner. I must use game spinner on a card asap I think. I know certain boys would love it!

In between the double page, the Strawberry farm layout will sit in an 8 x 8 protector and on the back of the page is this drawing Drew did for wrapping paper for Nanna's birthday.

Strawberry farm digital layout

On Wednesday, we took our kids to the strawberry farm in Main Ridge. Because I had more than one photo I wanted to include in my Project Life album, I made this quick 8 x 8 digital layout I am going to include in the centre of this weeks spread.
The kids had a ball and we have a fridge full of fresh strawberries that smell divine... Hmmmmm, yum yum yum.
