Stampin' Up! 13th birthday memories & more scrapbook page with shaker card

Late last year my eldest daughter celebrated her 13th birthday. Using the fabulous new picture perfect party suite, I made short work of documenting her birthday party. I couldn't help myself and I had to have a play with a full sized (6 x 8) shaker page in between the invite and the group photo.

Stampin' Up! Tutti Fruiti Suite Make n Take

Make n take 3:
Back in November I attended an On Stage Local event in Melbourne. At any Stampin' Up! event like On Stage we always have make n takes to create. I am hopeless and usually never create them and they sit here at home doing nothing as they are still in their plastic casing. I'm trying to make an effort to be better than that and are even stamping some of the make n takes at the event and then I bring them home and add my own touch to them. 
As you can see below, this is the image we receive from Stampin' Up! and have all the supplies available to create it as pictured. 

I stamped an additional pear when at On Stage as I always had plans of making something with a pair of pears… It ended up working nicely with a photo of my daughter and her bestie when they were back at acrobatics classes together again after an injury. 

Both of my pears were stamped with lemon lime twist to create tag, yet I decided I wanted a different coloured pear. I flipped one of the punched shapes over and coloured the backside with a sponge dauber and inkpad.

I have plans for the pineapples on another scrapbook (memories & more page) but need to print the photos!

Stampin' Up! 9th Birthday Memories & More Background Page

For my monthly project life "Memories & More" crop class (held on the 4th Friday of the month @ 10am - 2pm), I recently created this layout of my daughters 9th birthday. It uses a variety of classic stampin' ink refills with the stampin' spritzer. It is amazing the different colour combinations you can come up with used a variety of inks. My sample features rich razzleberry, melon mambo, tangerine tango and crushed curry.

The colours are a bit off in the overhead shot (I just couldn't get them right) but the side view shows the colours much better

These are some of the backgrounds the other ladies created in class. It was fair to say everyone loved creating inky masterpieces for their albums.

The background page was inspired by Karlie Yardy.

Engagement album

I recently created a custom ordered engagement album. Above is the introduction page; based on the movie Mr and Mrs Smith (and groom's surname) and using MDS made it a breeze.


Inside the album was divided page protectors and I decorated cardstock to make journaling cards for guests to write on (polaroid photos were also going to be slipped into the page protectors). These journaling cards were fun to make and I think would look fantastic in Project Life style albums.

December daily, day 4

I stole a few moments last night to scrap another day for my December Daily 2012 journal. I'm hoping to build the album a lot quicker with the kids at school but then again, I could be distracted with all the seasonal catalogue goodies quite easily.

Last month, I once again attempted to complete a December Daily. I managed to take my photos each day and have only completed 3 pages so far. This time last week I was at the Melbourne Heartfelt Stampin' event. I had a ball and meeting many old and new friends along with seeing fabulous displays and creations featuring new products. We also got copies of the BRAND NEW annual catalogue and the holiday catalogue *squeal* and TWO new stamps from the upcoming annual catalogue. melbourne heartfelt stampin event
