Roller skating birthday invitation

My daughter turned 10 this year and wished for a party. A party at the local skateworld was organised and I created themed invites for her to give out. I think I met her request quite well. She wanted her favourite colour (purple), a roller skate on them and use the card thing (she meant the circle card thinlets).

Thomas the tank engine 2nd birthday

My nephew turned 2 almost 2 months ago now and had a Thomas the Tank engine party. I think its about high time I shared his invite and cake. My sister outdid herself with learning how to use MDS to whip up his Thomas invite. Did you know you can try MDS for free for 30 days? I was tasked with making his birthday cake and of course, he had to have a Thomas the Tank engine cake.
It was my first time using fondant other than just covering the cake, so while it's not perfect, it certainly was a learning experience. 

I like to think the little guy is saying "Oh ahh Aunty Rosie you did a good job!" Ha ha

Noah loved all his presents (and he got a few), his cake and the cake tasted pretty fine also (even if I have to say myself... LOL but then again many people also told me it was yummy.) Now to research what to make for upcoming Miss 10's birthday.

Just Add Ink 225

With the colour challenge running over at Just Add Ink at the moment

I used it as a base for a corset tri fold card. This card would be great for a female birthday or even perfect as a hen's party invite.

Hen's party invite

Today I'm sharing the hen's party invite I made to coordinate with all the past 5 wedding posts. In case you missed any of them here they are again;

I went for a hybrid invite for the hen's party utilising My Digital Studio (MDS) and the happy hour ensemble.

Valentine's day wedding cake boxes

Today I'm sharing the cake boxes. Nothing much to them other than a black box and pretty label to match in with other creations.
