Stampin' Up! Hello Card with Sweet Symmetry DSP from the Clearance Rack

I saw a starburst card on TikTok made by Megan Daves and it inspired me to use up some Sweet Symmetry scraps I had floating on my desk. I haven't made a starburst card in so long and I had forget how much fun they are to make. My scraps were 1 1/4" wide before I cut them in half but were too pretty to just throw away. I'm glad I had saved them as I just love my finished card. I even used the extra leftover pieces and patchworked a pattern on the envelope flap.

Stampin' Up! Textures & Frames Hello Card

How fun is textures & frames stamp set? I am a late to the party to inking this stamp set up but I am really enjoying having a go with it. It has sat on my desk uninked for a week as we have been busy with a new dog in the house but I am glad I finally got a chance to ink it up. Especially as sale-a-bration only has a few days to go!

Stampin' Up! Summer Shadows Hello Card

Today, we have week 13 of the colour creations blog hop. We have returned to the traditional blog hop like a circle, for this new round so we hop you enjoy blog hoping round to everyone's blog. You may have found me via Kate Morgan's blog. If not that's ok! Hi and welcome! 

For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, crumb cake.
I have chosen crumb cake, calypso coral and granny apple green from the colour coach to work from this week. 

Today's card features summer shadows dies in a tone on tone colourway way and uses the faux embossing technique. Each die cut piece has been cut with adhesive sheets adhered on the back and inked before being adhered in place. The sentiment is from the biggest wish stamp set and die cut from the messages die. I kept the card front extremely basic for me and have just embellished with pearl basic jewels.

Stampin' Up! Hello Floral Squares Dies Card

Today, we have week six of the colour creations blog hop. We have returned to the traditional blog hop like a circle, for this new round so we hop you enjoy blog hoping round to everyone's blog. You may have found me via Kristine D'Auria's blog. If not that's ok! Hi and welcome! 
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, blushing bride.
I have chosen blushing bride, highland heather and garden green from the colour coach to work from this week and I snuck in some balmy blue.

I have made a hello card this week. With the sweet floral square dies I decided a hello sentiment was perfect so it can be used for a variety of occasions. I die cut the "square". in balmy blue and garden green cardstock and the additional floral pieces in highland heather. You maybe wondering how did I get the basic black edging if I only die cut the frame in two colours? I used my stampin' write markers and drew around the garden green frame to create the illusion of a black frame. It was much easier than fussy cutting the leaves etc. because I tried that as well!
I have raised my floral frame up off my card using foam adhesive sheets for height and dimension. I tried to create a "double matt" look with the blushing bride cardstock for elegance and sophistication. 


I used the offcut from the balmy blue to act as a stencil (leftover from creating the card front) to decorate the envelope and used the blending brushes for the subtle colouring on the envelope. 


Inside card - is a replication of the front panel and left blank for plenty of writing
