This week over at Just Add Ink the challenge is to add something starting with "S". I went with strips (very subtle stripes) and sparkle for my Noel Christmas card.
It was a very timely challenge as this card does double duty, my Just Add Ink entry and is also for my Christmas in July card making night which is this Friday.

On our team forum we had this stunning image
for a photo inspiration challenge. It was a stunning photo my upline took in Paris (while she was on the Stampin' Up! incentive trip).
I used the colours from the image, (the pinks, yellows, blues and greens) as they basis for my jar of love card. I also used faux embossing on the background as we also made this card in my July techniques class.

My late entry for the Casing the Catalogue #81 challenge. I used the shaker card on page 13 as the CASE for the card. I held a product share with our greater Stampin' Up! team and enamel shapes was one of the products shared. (If you'd like more information regarding product shares or information about joining my team, e-mail me or visit here.) The reason I am mentioning the product share is the enamel shapes come with blister packaging. I used the leftover blister packaging for the window of my shaker card.

Just add numbers is the current challenge over at Just Add Ink and I took some time out of class samples to play. This massive card (the front measures 17.5cm x 18.5cm) is for a sweet little cousin's party this coming weekend. She happens to favour pink and ponies (of course).

As I mentioned in this post, I am hosting challenges on our team forum this month. For challenge #2 I have gone with a masculine theme for the challenge. An added bonus challenge is to use the colours real red, crumb cake, basic black and very vanilla.
