If you happen to be my mum reading this post, please forgot come mothers day that you have seen this card and act surprised in May! For the moment, be happy that I am super prepared and organised and have made your you card in January!

I have made a floating pop up card in a box card featuring the fabulous new butterfly beauty thinlet dies. The butterfly beauty die is a two step layering die and actually cuts out a much larger butterfly than what I have used (I have just cut away the excess with my paper snips). The largest butterfly is 9.8 x 13cm and the thinlet dies come with 20 dies!


I have also used the well said bundle (well said stamp set and well written framelit dies) for my happy mother's day sentiment. I love how these combined products, 51 stamps and 24 dies work so well together to create many sentiments and phrases for lots of different occasions. I have used them on many cards already and they will be getting a lot more use during the occasions catalogue period.  


I die cut the "happy sentiment three times and layered each one on top of each other to make the word appear bolder and stand out more.


I made my own cloud background panel using the big shot and up & away thinlet dies (and the multi purpose adhesive sheets made sticking the clouds down simple!)


I finished off the back off the card with basic stamping (again from the well said stamp set) and some fussy cutting from the botanical butterfly designer series paper to match the card front.

Basketball thank you card

Sharing a basketball thank you card I made for the kids winter season coaches today.
It's yet another card in a box card. Card in a box cards, are one of my favourites as they always get a WOW and people love them. This time, on the inside of the "box" I placed a piece of elastic on the diagonal so when you fold it the correct way as you remove it from the envelope, the box "snaps" into position.

Another Monster High birthday

My darling Miss B turned 7 on Good Friday. She didn't have a birthday party this year but still managed to sneak 2 friends in for a sleepover. As with Miss N's 9th birthday, B wanted a Monster High theme. 
I made her a card in a box style card

She crafted with her friends (Hema Beads and Loom Bands, inverted fishtail). Monster High Hema Beads pattern found here.

A quick and simple birthday cake, everything Monster High themed.

I used my sample of the crafting for the cake topper. Along with some buttercream icing, black fondant and chocolate buds, the cake was very simple but B loved it still.

Valentine's day wedding card

Day 5 of wedding shares (day 1, 2, 3 and 4 can be found here, here, here and here).
Today I'm sharing the wedding card I made to try and co-ordinate in with all the other goodies previously shown. I jumped on the card in a box band wagon and gave it a go. I love it so much I've scheduled a card in the box class next month, Friday March 14th at 10am and 7pm. Cost $15.
