To compliment the baby shower invitations I made recently, I was asked to make some thank you tags for noodle boxes for the baby shower. I was able to create any style tag as long as it fit on the noodle box and had a thank you message on the back of the tag.
I love how sweet the little feet are on the tag, don't you?

Today's try it Thursday project is an attempt to CASE myself. My sister had a baby boy last week and I wanted to make a card similar in theme to the one I made for one of my other nephew's a few years back (source).

With the retirement list live and stock going fast (why wouldn't it when there is products up to 50% off!) I got to work using some of my retiring products. These two cards feature the lullaby range of designer series paper, perfect for both baby boy and girl cards. Dropping by with a cute baby card made especially for a new little princess. Using the simply pressed clay and the alphanumeric clay mould custom name cards are a breeze. I love not using up all the "good" letters and being left with the horrible hard to use ones like V and Z.
Just a tip, when putting clay in the mould if you are having trouble getting it out and retaining the shape, pop it in the freezer for 10 - 15 minutes. It won't hurt if you leave it in the freezer for 5 hours either (opps I forgot mine in the freezer for a while and it was fine.)
Another tip featured in Impressions (our bi-monthly Stampin' Up! magazine) were to leave the letters in the mould for 24 hours to dry. I didn't do that and mine lost some shape as they were very soft when removed. I will certainly being letting my letters dry in mould next time.

I was asked by a member of my kids school to create a custom baby shower card. Not knowing the sex of the baby I went with my favourite "neutral" baby colours, so saffron, certainly celery, pool party and wisteria wonder.
