Let's Craft Together Photo Inspiration Challenge - Country Birdhouse Bundle Card

Welcome to the Let’s Craft Together blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia. Each month, one person sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month's challenge is photo inspiration challenge set by Michele Jutrisa.


I saw lots of browns and greys on this image and pinks and greens so I used Early Espresso, Pecan Pie, Flirty Flamingo, Old Olive, Basic Beige and Basic White. When I did a google reverse image search as I wanted to see what was behind the watermark, I saw the smallest hint of blue in the image so I ran with the blue on my card (in case you are wondering where the Pool Party has come from in my card!

Inside card - as my card has no sentiment I kept the inside of the card very plain

Stampin' Up! Basketball Pretty Pleats Birthday Card

This post has been sitting in my drafts for too long as one of my nephews is now 9 and the other one month off being 13!
I've made a couple of Basketball Pretty Pleats birthday cards for a two of my nephews. Both Levi and Middy love Golden State Warriors and while I couldn't make the basketball jersey look exactly like the Warriors jersey I tried to make it on theme with the colours and where the logo would go I used Alphabet la mode Dies for the boys ages. 

The basketball jersey die cuts were cut out on my electric die cut machine and I used the retired Pinewood Planks 3D Embossing Folder to mimic the woodgrain of the basketball court or you could also use the Timber 3D Embossing Folder if you need a current product to reproduce the look. I also stamped Happy Birthday inside the card using something fancy stamp set and die cut it with the matching dies, Something Fancy Dies.

Stampin' Up! 27th Birthday Card with Fruit Salad DSP

I made this card for my eldest nephew whose birthday is in November. I have a long list of other cards I should have made before this one but I couldn't get the idea out of my head. I am not sure if that is procrastination or I'm super organised? LOL, maybe it is both.

The main feature on this card is the pineapple DSP which is one of the many sheets from the Fruit Salad DSP. The Fruit Salad DSP is one of 14 FREE product choices when you spend $100+ on Stampin' Up! products between January 7th - February 28th, 2025.

I fussy cut the pineapples and raised them up with Stampin' Dimensionals. They are adhered onto the backside of the pineapple DSP. The #27 is from Birthday Celebration dies sitting on a circle from Spotlight on Nature dies which is also raised up on Stampin Dimensionals. The random daffodil delight dots are retired from my stash.

Let's Craft Together Love Is In the Air Challenge - Friendly Seagulls Anniversary Card

 

Welcome to the Let’s Craft Together blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia. Each month, one person sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month's challenge is a 'Love is in the Air' challenge set by Tracy Held.


I went with a different spin on the 'Love is In the Air' challenge this month and created an anniversary card featuring seagulls and hot chips! The Friendly Seagulls stamp set is one of the many free products can earn if you make a $100 purchase during sale-a-bration (January 7th - February 28th, 2025.) I've teamed the Friendly Seagulls stamp set with Mini Alphabet Dies, Stampin' Blends and Blending Brushes to create a beach scene.

Let's Craft Together Christmas Colour Challenge - Merriest Trees Tower Panel Fun Fold Card

Welcome to the Let’s Craft Together blog hop. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia. Each month, one person sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month's challenge is a Christmas colour challenge set by Monique Fielder. 

I have created a Christmas Tower Panel Fun Fold card featuring Merriest Trees stamp set. It was really fun to make and was a new fun fold for me and also used some DSP from my stash (which is always a bonus!) that can still be found on the clearance rack (Fresh as a Daisy DSP.) I had fun decorating the tree with the gold tinsel and berries and deciding what colours to make the presents and bows. If only it was that quick to decorate a Christmas tree in real life.

Chain mail card swap - Legendary Ride Birthday Card

For the past few months, I have been taking part in what has been known as a chain mail card swap with fellow Aussie SU demos, although I do have a terrible habit of calling it a Chinese Whispers card swap.  (Do you remember, the game Chinese Whispers you played as a child? The message never quite came out the same at the end as it started?) Well, cards in the chain mail swap can end up that way as well.
The first card in each blog hop is an original card and then it is posted to the next person on the list and they create their card, CASEing (Copy And Selectively Edit) the card they were mailed and post it onto the next person on the list and it continues on and on through the list. I've loved this challenge CASEing the cards every two weeks they arrived in my mailbox and am sad this round is over. 

For our next blog hop, we are starting with Cheryl's card. I cheated and rotated this card 90° so that I could fit the motorbike from Legendary Ride in properly. Do you see the "tyre marks" on the smoky slate background? I made those using a toy car in an old inkpad. Took me a few toy cars to get the right impression but was interesting seeing the different looks the wheels created.

Let's Craft Together Sketch Challenge - Trusty Tools Birthday Card

This is my first month blog hopping with the Let’s Craft Together blog hop team. We are a group of Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators in Australia. Each month, one person sets a challenge that we use for the blog hop. This month's challenge is a sketch challenge set by Maheswari Rajaguru. 


I have created a male birthday card for my Dad whose birthday was last week. I made a square card and used Trusty Tools dies and Mini Alphabet dies to spell out Dad with the Happy Birthday sentiment from Something Fancy stamp set. The background paper is from Country Woods DSP. Perfect card for my Dad who is always tinkering around in his shed on many different projects.

Stampin' Up! Cheerful Daisies Birthday Card with Softly Said Stamp Set

Hi and welcome to another round of the colour creations blog hop. 
For this week's blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, crushed curry.
If you remember, from previous years I like to work with the color coach Stampin' Up! provides to add a challenge to my card creations.
This week, I have chosen crushed curry, cajun craze and pretty peacock from the colour coach to work with.

I made a birthday card featuring Cheerful Daisies stamp set and dies. I die cut out a few large daisies and created a tone on tone background. I stamped two daisies in Crushed Curry and Cajun Craze inks and adhered them onto a circle from Everyday Details Dies. The sentiment is heat embossed (from Softly Said stamp set) in white embossing powder onto a strip of Pretty Peacock cardstock and the card is finished off with Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
