For the past few months, I have been taking part in what has been known as a chain mail card swap with fellow Aussie SU demos, although I do have a terrible habit of calling it a Chinese Whispers card swap. (Do you remember, the game Chinese Whispers you played as a child? The message never quite came out the same at the end as it started?) Well, cards in the chain mail swap can end up that way as well.
The first card in each blog hop is an original card and then it is posted to the next person on the list and they create their card, CASEing (Copy And Selectively Edit) the card they were mailed and post it onto the next person on the list and it continues on and on through the list. I've loved this challenge CASEing the cards every two weeks they arrived in my mailbox and am sad this round is over.
For our first blog hop, we are starting with Genna's card. I really loved the design of this card and it was one of my favourites from the whole swap.
The shades in the Full of Life DSP created a moody backdrop and I had a really hard time trying to work out what piece of paper I was going to use to begin with and then how I was going to cut it. I was very happy with my choices when I had finished though after picking through many pieces of paper. I finished my card off with Simply Zinnia focal image coloured in with Stampin' Blends and a sentiment from Adventurous Sky stamp set.

Love everything about this card, Ros, the moody, vibrant colours and the carry-through of the design to inside and the envelope.
