Hi and welcome to another round of the colour creations blog hop.
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, pretty in pink.
If you happen to like the new in colours, you can get four FREE in color products when you join Stampin' Up! in May. Contact me for more details.
If you remember, from previous years I like to work with the color coach Stampin' Up! provides to add a challenge to my card creations.
This week, I have chosen pretty in pink, blackberry bliss and smoky slate from the colour coach to work with. I have created a sympathy card using the stunning simply zinnia stamp set with the everyday details dies. I coloured in the zinnia with Stampin' Blends and used the partial die cutting technique to leave the stems of the flowers attached as I die cut the circle die. I ran the everyday details die through the my Stampin' Cut and Emboss on my pretty in pink cardstock so it wasn't completely plain. I also used another die from the same set for the sentiment which is from Something Fancy stamp set. I finished off my card with some pearls.

Ros, I love the colour combination you've chosen for this card and the layout is stunning too. Your colouring of the zinnias is impeccable!

This is a really beautiful card, Ros. I love the zinnias in Pretty in Pink; you have inspired me (I haven't inked up those gorgeous stamps, despite having bought them as soon as they came out!). The die-cut detail on the front of the card, and the sentiment inside, are really lovely touches.

Really pretty, Ros. A great technique for these flowers and love the diecut detail down the side. The inside is also very impressive and could also be replicated as a card front!

A beautiful sympathy card both inside and out Ros. I always enjoy seeing the way you use the colour coach to inform your choice of colour palette.
