Hi, we are starting a new round of colour creations blog hops and I am trying to get back into the swing of my weekly colour creations cards again.
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, peach pie.
If you remember, from previous years I like to work with the color coach Stampin' Up! provides to add a challenge to my card creations.
This week, I have chosen peach pie, calypso coral and misty moonlight from the colour coach to work with.
I have created a cut and flip card, I cut a section off the front of the card and I rotated that cut off piece 90°and adhered it back in place onto the card as the panel the shopping trolley/cart sits on and also has a faux silk panel for texture. On the flap I adhered a piece of Peach Pie Unbounded Beauty DSP which matched really well with the calypso coral cardstock. To bring in more misty moonlight onto my card, I added in card flap under the shopping trolley/cart. It is also a great place to put a gift card once the card is fully opened up (if I choose at a later date). I did choose to leave my card with no sentiment, although a birthday sentiment would work great with this card but I feel leaving it blank means if you need to cheer someone one up, this card is perfect.

Ros, your cut and flip card is adorable! I love that shopping trolley die so much - it looks great in silver foil - and the way you have layered the elements on the flps is perfect.

Ros, what a fun bundle to play with and a fabulous card using different elements for this fancy fold. I love how the card can be tailored for any occasion. Also love the embossed panel behind the trolley.

It's good to have you back in the blog hops, Ros! Great card, with lots of interesting details to look at. I love the metallic trolley, and the background that elicits thoughts of a paper shopping bag!

Such a great card Ros and not the colour coach combo that I thought you were going to use.Having said that you've really made the combo work. I especially love how you have used the metallic for the shopping trolley to be more realistic.

Love your chosen colour palette Ros. The Misty Moonlight works very well back with the Peach Pie. Thanks of sharing as it is not a combination I think of would have tried otherwise. Your trolley of goodies is fabulous and would certainly cheer anyone up.

Great card Ros. I love that you could leave off the sentiment until the appropriate occasion showed up. I definitely need to add this bundle to my shopping list!

What a great card, Ros! Good choice to leave it sentiment free for now. It would be great as a birthday card, or even a pick-me-up card for a friend going through a tough time.
