Hi and welcome to another round of the colour creations blog hop.
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, coastal cabana.
If you remember, from previous years I like to work with the color coach Stampin' Up! provides to add a challenge to my card creations.
This week, I have chosen coastal cabana, night of navy and gray granite from the colour coach to work with.
I've used alphabet a la mode dies to create a numbered background for my happy birthday die cut circle to rest on. The adhesive sheets are a dream to work with for small dies cuts like these. Lots of layering and die cutting on this card and very little to explain but it does create the faux embossing technique which I have created many times before when making a tone on tone background. I did use stampin' dimesionals to pop up the happy birthday sentiment from the layer die cut circles for added depth.
Close up
Inside card - I made use of the offcuts to decorate the inside panel along with some full size numbers to fill in the larger spaces
With envelope - I used the leftover waste from die cutting the numbers to decorate the envelope
Up next we have Sharon Davern. I can't wait to see what she is sharing.
If you have find a broken link on the blog hop, the master list for the blog hop can be found here.
