Hi and welcome to another round of the colour creations blog hop.
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, basic gray.
If you remember, from previous years I like to work with the color coach Stampin' Up! provides to add a challenge to my card creations.
This week, I have chosen basic gray, daffodil delight and lemon lime twist from the colour coach to work with. As the colour challenge wasn't enough, I made this card as a class sample and for my nephew's 11th birthday as well!
I created my own DSP using lemon lime twist cardstock and the level complete step set to create the strips on the right hand side of the card (and the inside). I stamped the strips in lemon lime twist ink in full strength and also second generation stamping for the two tone look. I also created the DSP style panel on the left hand side of the card using the two controller images in the level complete stamp set with basic gray ink. I used real red, lemon lime twist, daffodil delight and tahitian tide stampin blends to colour in the controller buttons. I completed the card with another controller that I fussy cut out and raised a leveled up banner on daffodil delight cardstock that sits atop a belly band.

This is the perfect stamp set to use with Basic Gray, and I love what you've made. The stamped panels on the side are a great counterpart to the controllers. I love the pops of colour on the controllers.

Another beauty created with this stamp set. I thought you had fussy cut those little coloured buttons too like Rachel, but no, you used Blends! Loving all the masculine cards this week.
