Hi and welcome to another round of the colour creations blog hop.
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, bubble bath.
If you remember, from previous years I like to work with the color coach Stampin' Up! provides to add a challenge to my card creations.
This week, I have chosen bubble bath, pretty peacock and pool party from the colour coach to work with.
Knowing that 13 packs of DSP are on sale for 15% off this month, I wanted to try and use as many of the DSP's that are on special on my cards this month.
This week, I have used the delightfully eclectic 12" x 12" DSP and I love that I could purchase it for $45.05 AUD (and get demonstrator discount on top of that!) instead of paying $53.00 AUD!
I have created a pocket front card for my nieces birthday which will be great for stashing money in, a gift card, a note or a scratchie. I have also used the wanted to say dies and have cut my die cut in half to create a long die cut. I love that is makes it more versatile and created a whole new look. I finished off the card with circle die cuts and the numbers 1 & 6 in silver foil for some bling and also used some basic rhinestone jewels.

Ros, your pocket front card has such a great retro vibe with the shape of the card, the DSP and the colour combo. Love it!

This is a super-cute card for your niece's 16th birthday, Ros. What a fun colour combination. You're right - the die-cut sentiment, cut apart, gives a whole new look. Great way to show off the versatility of your supplies.

A cute pocket card Ros. I’m sure you niece will be delighted with her card and whatever surprise is hidden in the pocket. Separating the Happy Birthday sentiment does give it a different look - lovely. xxx
