Hi and welcome to another round of the colour creations blog hop. It's been a while for me so I am excited to be back creating these lovely ladies.
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, Parakeet Party.
If you remember, from previous years I like to work with the color coach Stampin' Up! provides to add a challenge to my card creations.
This week, I have chosen parakeet party, coastal cabana and poppy parade from the colour coach to work with.
For my card today, I have created a corner fold card and used the lovely summer shadows dies for the large bold floral images (and the small coastal cabana flower inside the card). I have used the inlaid embossing on the large flowers and also left some with just the outline image. I've also used the stitched greenery die to create the parakeet party background. Basic rhinestone jewels helped complete the card. I have left the card with no sentiment both on the front and the inside so it can be used for any occasion.
Inside the card
Up next we have Sharon Davern. I can't wait to see what she is sharing.

A lovely corner fold card Ros. I haven’t tried one of these folds - you have inspired me to give it a go. Love your use of the Summer Shadows dies and a mix of inlaid technique and without; with the stitched greenery background die. So lovely. Xxx

Ros, you just have a knack of choosing a different yet effective colour combo and this card is another example.Such a great idea not to add a sentiment as the card could be used for so many different occasions.

What a great card Ros, I love the corner fold. The colour combination is so vibrant and the Poppy Parade goes so well with the Parakeet Party. Love all the details and the dies work really well with this fold.
