Tonight I am joining some fellow demonstrators on a Christmas blog hop. We aim to bring you Christmas inspiration every Monday evening right through to the end of November!
You may have found me via Catherine Proctor's blog. If not that's ok! Hi and welcome!
I have the fourth and final card from the 6" x 6", one sheet wonder today. Again, the DSP is from Heartwarming Hugs and I have embossed the mossy meadow cardstock with the Merry Melody 3D embossing folder. I added my fussy cut/stampin' blend image on top of the gold foil/die cut image. The cut bird image and stamped sentiment (and the tree) are all from Be Jolly stamp set. For added visual interest I raised tree image up with stampin' dimensionals and of course I have also added in some rhinestone basic jewels. For those eagle eyed people, you may notice this card has a white matt as opposed to the others 3 cards (in previous weeks) all had black matts. I broke the rules of the one sheet wonder matt cutting and wanted to have my bird coloured in with stampin' blends and not have to fussy cut the legs out.

Up next we have Rachel Woollard. I can't wait to see what she is sharing.

Just delightful, Ros! The swirly circle die-cut is a great backdrop for the Christmas tree, and you definitely made the right decision stamping the little bird on white card ... imagine trying to cut out those little legs! I love the bright, cheery, colours, and all the gorgeous details on this card.

Your card is magnificent, Ros. I don't blame you for not wanting to fussy cut those spindly legs, I would have made the same choice!!

Great idea to swap out the black card for white, as that little bird is so cute and really stands out on your card, Ros. Lovely colouring of your tree with the gold foil behind to add to the Christmas sparkle.

Very cute and colourful card Ros. I especially like the red patterned DSP balanced by the white where the cute little birdy and greeting has been stamped.

This is such a cute card Ros, I have looked at it a few times now and if I look at it a certain way it is like the music layer is inset in the red. You have created quite the depth in your card it is captivating. Love the tree set on the die cut gold. I had completely missed these two stamp sets and they are great. Love your card.

Ros, this is really sweet. I can imagine the little bird twittering a Christmas carol to the recipient of this gorgeous card. I love the touch of gold foil in the swirly circle die cut.
