Tonight I am joining some fellow demonstrators on a Christmas blog hop. We aim to bring you Christmas inspiration every Monday evening right through to Mid December!
You may have found me via Michele Taylor's blog. If not that's ok! Hi and welcome!
Today, I have an angled fold Christmas card featuring delicate baubles dies and peaceful prints DSP. I have also used the be dazzling speciality paper. The peaceful prints DSP and be dazzling specialty paper are both available for free when you spend $90 or more on any Stampin' Up! products from August 3rd - September 30th. I really love them both and in case you haven't noticed have been using them A LOT!
For my angled card I created a base in sahara sand cardstock, inspired from the peaceful prints DSP and created a strip design from some offcuts of DSP. To complete the left hand side, I used a delicate baubles die and die cut in snowy white velvet sheets (from the July - December mini catalogue) and of course adding adhesive sheets to the velvet sheet before die cutting. A basic rhinestone jewel was added to the centre of the snowflake and a joy sentiment added to the bottom of the card front.
On the right hand side of the card front I went with a sheet of DSP so it was a toned down a little (compared to the strip design).
Close up
Inside card - I used leftover pieces of DSP from the card front to decorate the inside and I also cut another snowflake bauble. I used paper snips to cut away the excess portions of the bauble I didn't want.
Up next we have Caroline Manwaring. I can't wait to see what she is sharing.

I haven't seen this unusual fold of card before, Ros - it's fantastic! I love that you used several prints of the paper on the left hand panel, and a toned-down pattern on the right. Also, thanks for the reminder about the velvet sheets; I keep forgetting I have them! Great idea to cut the ornament from that paper.

Love your angled card Ros and one I’d love to try. I particularly adore the white bauble with the DSP strips behind it. I like how you have carried the strips over to the inside of your card too.

I really love how you have decorated this unique design Ros. I love the angle cuts and how you’ve used this lovely DSP so well. Great choice of pattern for the opposite side to your strips too.

That ornament looks wonderful in the white velvet sheet over those lovely strips of DSP panelling. Your sponging always adds a great touch!

Love the idea of cutting the bauble from the Velvet sheets Ros and love how you have used the DSP on the 2 sides of the card to contrast each other
