Today, we have week 14 of the colour creations blog hop. We have returned to the traditional blog hop like a circle, for this new round so we hop you enjoy blog hoping round to everyone's blog. You may have found me via Diane Furniss' blog. If not that's ok! Hi and welcome!
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, crushed curry.
I have chosen crushed curry, granny apple green and gorgeous grape from the colour coach to work from this week.
For my card today, I basically CASED my card from last week's crumb cake blog hop except instead on a tone on tone design, I went with a bright, inlaid design and rotated the card 90 degrees. I used a basic black outline and filled it in with crushed curry, gorgeous grape and granny apple green inlaid pieces with adhesive sheets on the back of each die cut piece. I filled in some blank spaces with rhinestone basic jewels. I left the card with no sentiment so it can be used for any occasion although I may add a sentiment later.
Just a reminder what last weeks card looked like:
Here is this week's card:

WOW! Your card virtually jumps out of the computer screen, Ros! What a beauty. I love those bold colours against the white background, and am super-impressed with all the paper-piecing/inlaying you did. You've made Crushed Curry look good. :)

Great colour combination Ros - it reminds me of Pansies or African violets and yes, I love the die inlay technique too!

What a great card Ros, I am loving your different version of last weeks card. The black outline and the coloured inset is very striking against the white. Very Pretty card.

Your card is so pretty Ros and I love your bright colours that remind me of the beautiful pops of spring colour I’m seeing on my neighbourhood walks. Those inlaid die cuts looking stunning.

Wow Ros your card is stunning. It is so bold and beautiful. I really appreciate the time it would have taken to inlay each piece.
