Tonight I am joining some fellow demonstrators on a Christmas blog hop. We aim to bring you Christmas inspiration every Monday evening right through to Mid December!
You may have found me via Sharon Davern's blog. If not that's ok! Hi and welcome!
For my card today, it is a CASE from a card I saw on the Stampin' Up! Instagram page. This is the original card.
I loved the playfulness of the sheep on the Christmas card. I don't think my card looks as playful, I think mine has a more country feel but I love being able to make the counting sheep stamp set look festive.
I've inked the edges of all die cuts, designer series paper and cardstock with matching inks. I stamped "holly jolly wishes" stamp set on crumb cake cardstock and used banners pick a punch to create flag ends. I created the "circles" for the hats on the sheep by using the "number 8" die from the playful alphabet dies. The circles are the middle of the 8 leftover when the die is cut.
I have used four products from the sale-a-bration brochure on this card, counting sheep stamp set, sheep dies, peaceful prints designer series paper and be dazzling speciality paper. All are available for free with a purchase of $90 or more.

You certainly achieved a fun, festive, look with those sheep, Ros! Great idea, to use the number die for the glittery circles on their hats; you're so good at thinking outside the square!

So very cute Ros, I love it! The sheep are so cute and it makes me think of Babe the movie when the pig sings Fa la la la la The sheep singing at the top of their lungs. I think I have been in lock down too long. All these things keep coming to mind. Really great card, love it!

It really is a fun card, Ros! The sheep remind me of the silly sheep on Shaun the Sheep - one of Hudson's favourite shows!

Your cards are fabulous Ros. I have been resisting the sheep because I don't really do cutesy, but I am really beginning to come around and your cards have certainly pushed me further in that direction.
