Tonight I am joining some fellow demonstrators on a Christmas blog hop. We aim to bring you Christmas inspiration every Monday evening right through to Mid December!
You may have found me via Judy May's blog. If not that's ok! Hi and welcome!
I have a punch art/die cut Santa card to share with you tonight. It is not my original design and sadly I don't know who the original artist is to give credit to but it sure is a nifty way to use the stitched triangle dies.
I have used the painted texture embossing folder in the behind the Santa to add texture to what I felt would otherwise be a boring background. I love the subtle look and feel it adds to the card.
Inside card - I tried to replicate the Santa face inside the card from the card front, but I don't think it worked as well. I think it looks a little creepy, LOL. It looks much better with the rest of the body in my opinion.
Up next we have Sharon Davern. I can't wait to see what she is sharing.
If you have find a broken link on the blog hop, the master list for the blog hop can be found here.

Wow - this is super-clever, Ros! I love how Santa's hat is folded over ... and the Santa face inside the card doesn't look creepy. I laughed at what you said about it! Great, fun, card.

Aww! How cute!! The Santa looks wonderful, and I agree about the background. I like the Santa in the middle, I don't think he's creepy at all!

Haha, I am still giggling at your creepy Santa comment - I think he is just peeking above the card! This is very clever use of the stitched triangles.

What a great way to use the triangle dies Ros. Very cool. I dont know why you would think the inside one would look creepy though.
