Today, we have week one of the next round of the colour creations blog hop. We have returned to the traditional blog hop like a circle, for this new round so we hop you enjoy blog hoping round to everyone's blog. You may have found me via Andrea's blog. If not that's ok! Hi and welcome!
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on all the new 2021 - 2023 in colors, fresh freesia, polished pink, pale papaya, soft succulent and evening evergreen.
As I like to use the colour coach each week, I struggle fitting all 5 colours on one card! I initially picked polished this week as my focus and picked polished pink, mango melody and mossy meadow to work with. As you scroll down further, you'll see I made 2 more additional cards, much the same as much polished pink card only with two other in colors - fresh freesia and pale papaya.
I have used the inlaid embossing technique along with the artistic dies to create a thanks card. To get two different coloured leaves/flowers in mossy meadow and polished pink I coloured basic white cardstock with mossy meadow light stampin write marker and polished pink cardstock with the polished pink dark stampin write marker to get the tonal variations.

My pale papaya and fresh freesia cards again feature the colour coach swatches. The cards only differ from the polished pink one with a hello sentiment on the front instead of thanks. Both stamps are from the artistically inked stamp set. I again used the stampin' blends markers to colour the cardstock to get a variation in flowers colours. I have yet to make the matching envelopes but it is on the to do list for tomorrow!
I used the pale papaya, old olive and balmy blue colour combination.
I used the fresh freesia, gorgeous grape and granny apple green colour combination.
Personally, the polished pink card is my favourite but I think that is because I made that one first. Which one do you like best?
