Today, we have week two of the colour creations blog hop. We have returned to the traditional blog hop like a circle, for this new round so we hop you enjoy blog hoping round to everyone's blog. You may have found me via Diane Furniss' blog. If not that's ok! Hi and welcome!
For this weeks blog hop, we are focusing on the colour, balmy blue. A colour from the subtles family.
I have chosen balmy blue, night of navy and granny apple green from the colour coach to work from this week.
For my card today, I begun with a paint chip inspired background and used a die cut from the lovely artistic dies as my main feature. I heat embossed the sentiment on night of navy cardstock to continue with the navy from the paint chip background. I decided to make my card a thinking of you card so it could be an any occasion card. It could be for a birthday, get well soon or even a sympathy card in a pinch. I coloured the rhinestone basic jewels with a night of navy stampin' blend so they would colour match my card.

I love this colour combination - although I did expect you to choose the middle of the three on the Color Coach! The white die-cut looks amazing against the colours on the front of the card, and i like the subtlety of the Sahara Sand leaves inside. Great card, Ros.

A great card Ros. I love the blues, but that green really makes the card pop and draws your eye to the blue even more. Well done xox

What a great colour combination Ros and the white just pops against them. I thought you might pick this combination I don't know why. The card looks fantastic. It is striking and visually stunning. Love the inside too!

Love blues and greens together and the crisp white sprig really pops. The Sand sprig inside is a lovely subtle touch to mimic the front. Great card.

A really lovely card Ros. Striking in colour but still maintains a subtlety in design. I love the white leaf sprig.

Oh I loe this striking colour combo Ros and the starkness of the white looks brilliant on it.

Looks like a simple card but Ros you have used different techniques to make the design and colours result in a stand out card. I really like the shading around each rectangle layer and love that sprig.

Fabulous colour palette Ros. I really like how you added depth to your panels by sponging the edges. The basic white dies cut really stands out against your colour blocked background.
