Our forty eighth colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "so saffron" from the subtles collection.
I have chosen so saffron, pumpkin pie and soft suede from the colour coach to work with today for my creation.
For my card today, I have gone with a retro feel given the colour palette I have chosen. Well, at least I tried to.
I have used the layering circle dies to cut many, many circles and a lot of them I even cut in half! I then inked all my circles with sponge daubers and coordinating inkpads for depth and dimension. I left two circles to extend beyond my so saffron cardstock for added visual interest.
I also used a label from painted labels dies for my sentiment and the sentiment is from biggest wish.

You nailed the retro look Ros! Looks like a 70's kitchen splashback. Totally love your card. How great does Biggest Wish look! One of my faves from the new catalogue.

Oh, I love this, Ros! I had clothes and bed sheets in these colours, in the 1970s (nowhere near as attractive as your card, I can tell you).

A definite retro vibe to your card Ros and a clever way to add interest to the uniform circles by extending some to the edge. I also like how you stamped words partly over each other.

Your card is soooo groovy! It reminds me of curtains we had in our house when I was a kid. Love it!

Very cool retro card, Ros. It almost reminds me of the game, Tetris, which I used to love playing!
