Our forty sixth colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "shaded spruce" from the regals collection.
I have chosen shaded spruce, bermuda bay and soft suede from the colour coach to work with today for my creation.
I have used a new die set from the upcoming 2021 - 2022 annual catalogue called "Inspiring Canopy" dies to create this weeks card. It creates a lovely scene of trees easily yet is also quite easy to cut apart to use singularly.
I tried to use the blending brushes to create a fabulous blended background and didn't have the patience for a large scene so I cheated and use the retired SAB DSP, oh so ombre. The trees, hills and sun are all part of the Inspiring Canopy dies. I stamped the seagulls from sailing home stamp set to add some non die cuts to my card front.
Continuing on with decorating the front of my envelopes, I used a cut apart tree
Inside card - I left the inside of the card, very plain and blank intentionally so that I can stamp it for whatever occasion I use the card for
Catherine is hosting the colour creations blog hop each week and she has links for all the other ladies participating.

Oh, I love that you chose this colour combo, Ros! It really appeals to me, but I expected you to use one of the "less likely" combinations, LOL. Your card is beautiful, and I love the decoration of the envelope, too. Yay for new goodies!

That tree canopy set is striking against the ombré sky background. You have put together a lovely scene Ros.

What a beautiful colour combination and beautiful scene you've created on your card Ros. This is a fantastic new die bundle - your card has really tempted me. Thank you for participating in the Colour Creations Showcase!

Oh wow, that is fabulous. Ros. The DSP in the background is great, I thought it was sponged at first. Love it!

Such a great card Ros. I love the addition of the stamped seagulls amidst the die-cut images. Love the ombré sky too.

I have tried a couple of times on my phone to comment and it wouldn't let me so I am trying again on my laptop so hopefully I will get it through this time. This is such a great card and I love the colours you have chosen. It looks fantastic I can't wait to have a play with these products myself. I love the tree canopy and the grass hills you have created against the background.

I love this card ! Curious to know where the cloud dies are from as I don’t think I have that set .

The cloud dies Beryl are from the retired die set, up and away thinlits.
In the new annual catalogue there is a die set (with a long cloud) called basic borders or give it a whirl also has two cloud dies.

Oooh, wonderful card! That set of dies is quickly making it's way to the top of my wish list!
