Our forty fifth colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "seaside spray" from the 2019 - 2021 in color collection.
I have chosen seaside spray, pear pizzazz and so saffron from the colour coach to work with today for my creation.
I have used some new supplies from the upcoming 2021 - 2022 annual catalogue for my card today. It is a bundle called Quiet Meadow Bundle and the stamp set is called Quiet Meadow and the dies are called Meadow Dies. I can see the dies getting a lot of use. I have used 6 of the 13 dies on my card today! If you are lucky enough to have a catalogue on hand already the bundle can be found on page 110 (and the dies on page 160.) I'd love to show you what the stamp set and dies actually look like but since the catalogue isn't live I can't do that yet.
I've used the sand and sea designer series paper from the January - June mini catalogue as they background for my card and I think it makes a great "sky" background with very little work. I built up the garden scene using my meadow dies (and my trusty adhesive sheets). I added a torn piece of soft suede cardstock to resemble dirt at the bottom of the card front. I used a simple sentiment on the card front at the base with the classic label punch. A calypso coral butterfly, matt black dots and basic rhinestone jewels finished the card off for me.
I had a Stampin' Up! online training event last night and was reminded that Shelli Gardner (Stampin' Up! co founder) always says "Never send a naked envelope." With that in mind, I decorated my envelope to match tonights card!
Inside card - I left it blank with no sentiment so I had plenty of room to write seeing as I added in a few die cut images

Lovely card Ros and I like the use of the Meadow dies to create the garden scene. Those flowers make me happy.

Wow, such a gorgeous card Ros. I love the way you have used the die cut flowers from the Quiet Meadow bundle. Like you, I love this bundle - and you have used it beautifully. You are right, the Sand & Sea DSP is brilliant as a background. xxx

A really lovely card, Ros. I hadn't paid too much attention to this bundle, but I will need to take another look. I love how you've sponged the pieces, it really adds more dimension.

I hadn't even noticed these products in the new catalogue yet, but I love the scene you have created. The DSP is a perfect background for the sky!

Gorgeous card Ros. The Sand & Sea DSP works so well for a sky background - great choice! Love the matching envelope too.
