Our thirty sixth colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "poppy parade" from the brights collection. I have chosen poppy parade, petal pink and shaded spruce from the colour coach to work with today for my creation.
I have used the delicate "beautiful brushstrokes dies" to create blooms for my card. I hadn't decided on the direction of my card other than I wanted to make flowers with my trio of colours. During my creation I figured it would be a beautiful wedding card for a wedding we are attending (hopefully) in less than two weeks. (I do say hopefully as in Victoria we are today finishing up the end of a 5 day lockdown and who knows what changes will happen with COVID!)
I have used poppy parade and petal pink in my blooms and have also added flirty flamingo as a transition colour and I used granny apple green and shaded spruce for the leaves. I also heat embossed leaves from forever fern in white stampin' emboss powder on vellum cardstock. I die cut a frame from ornate layers dies and stamped my sentiment onto a stitched rectangle die shape. My sentiment is also from forever fern stamp set. I randomly placed champagne rhinestone jewels on the basic white cardstock (except for some which are hiding an ink smudge but shhhhh don't tell!)

Inside card - I typed my sentiment so it is all ready for the wedding day :)

Beautiful colour layering on those flowers, Ros. This is a really special, unique, wedding card. Hopefully Sarah and Dean get married as they want, when they want!

What a beautiful wedding card, Ros. I would never think to put Petal Pink with Poppy Parade, but it works so well. I have my fingers crossed you can make it to the wedding in a couple of weeks.

I love this bright and beautiful wedding card Ros. The ornate frame in black looks stunning, and I love the embossed vellum leaves. A touch of softness added to the other striking elements and perfect for a wedding. It reminds me of a vibrant coloured wedding bouquet.
