Our thirty fifth colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "pool party" from the subtles collection. I have chosen pool party, calypso coral and highland heather from the colour coach to work with today for my creation.
For my card today I have used the many layered blossoms die, which is a favourite of mine. I love seeing how I can make it look different each time I use it.
Today, I fussy cut away the excess cardstock from the right hand side of the card so the inside of the card peeks through.
I've used the adhesive sheets to stick the many layered blossom die down with ease and stamped happy birthday from Zany Zebras. I've also cut very fine strips of calypso coral cardstock (that have adhesive sheets on the back) to highlight the birthday sentiment. I finished off the card front with pool party faux resin dots.
Close up - which shows the peek a boo section
Inside card - I've used the you are amazing stamp set and hand drawn highland heather lines on basic white cardstock using a stampin' blend to create my own DSP.

Ros you never fail to amaze me. I would not have dreamed of this colour combo, and yet you in your usual style have made it work, and work so well! Love those Faux Resin Dots too - what a great finishing touch!

Wow - what a colour combination! I love how you cut away some of the right hand side of the card front, and really love the super-thin card strips highlighting the sentiment. Beautiful card, Ros.

Oh what a clever idea to cut away the edge of your card Ros. Adds so much interest. Fabulous colour palette too.

Ros, your cutting away of the excess paper to show the inside of the cards looks amazing. Great colour scheme too. Thank you for sharing your Pool Party ideas on the Colour Creations Showcase!

Very cool, Ros. The bright colours are fabulous! I really like that you created your own DSP on the inside too.

A great card Ros. I love the way you have fussy cut around part of the die cut floral arrangement to show the inside of the card. Your colour selection with Pool Party is bright and happy and your use of the adhesive sheets with these dies is very clever. The inside of your card is amazing too. Love it. xxx

Ros, this card is gorgeous! Those Calypso Coral strips either side of the sentiment are so thin - amazing. Love the colour combo too.
