Our thirty third colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is pear pizzaz from the subtles collection. I have chosen pear pizzazz, shaded spruce and crushed curry from the colour coach to work with today for my creation.
For my card today I have created a birthday card featuring the timeless tropical stamp set and in the tropics dies. I've also used the "faux mother of pearl" technique with shimmer paint to create my own pear pizzazz designer series paper on a slimline card.
I die cut the pineapple from crushed curry cardstock and fussy cut a backing piece from bumblebee cardstock. I die cut the crown of the pineapple from pear pizzazz cardstock. Leaves are cut from shaded spruce. All die cut pieces and inked in their coordinating inks.
I stamped the smaller flower from timeless tropical stamp set in flirty flamingo ink and coloured in it with poppy parade and flirty flamingo stampin' blends and finished it off with a faux resin dot.
A happy birthday sentiment from itty bitty birthdays in flirty flamingo and punched out with the classic label punch finishes off the card with some pear pizzazz faux resin dots.
Close up
Inside card - I tried to echo the pineapple from the front by stamping in sahara sand

I think Pear Pizzazz is a great green for the pineapple leaves, and I love the background you created, Ros. As always, a fab card!
