One of our recent ATC's featured the plaid technique. It is not a technique I had played with much other than adding a few lines to the buffalo check background stamp (see my card here). For this technique, we had to create a plaid background from scratch. I used crumb cake cardstock, stamping' blends (just jade and real red), basic black stamping' write marker and a gold sharpie pen. I found the stamparatus grid background helpful in making sure my lines were straight etc. as per this Instagram tip.
I used the Peace and Joy products from the August - December mini catalogue to finish my ATC's along with the pine tree punch (but it is from the annual catalogue).
