Our twenty sixth colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "merry merlot" from the neutrals collection. I have chosen merry merlot, melon mambo and daffodil delight from the colour coach to work with today for my creation.
I am getting the most from the curvy dies and again have used them to create a curvy edge card (my second one this week!) If you haven't already purchased the Quite Curvy Bundle or the Quite Curvy Variety Bundle you really must have another look at it. I've also used the happy dies along with the playful alphabet dies to create a bright and fun happy birthday card. The curved edge also helps add to the playful feel. The adhesive sheets are fabulous for adhering the finer details like the ballon string. I also used the foam adhesive sheets for the "happy" portion of the happy birthday sentiment. I have also used my faux resin dots to fill in some of the white space.
A bright and cheerful card for the young at heart

What a fun card Ros! I love the way you have changed it up by making it NOT rectangle!
And the balloons are a perfect match for the curved edge - repeating the lines of the strings in the cut of the cart - clever!

What a happy playful birthday card you created Ros. Love it. I also love you 'pinable' image and the way you have picked out the colours in your card to use for your back ground and text.
