Our twenty fourth colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "mango melody" from the brights collection. I have chosen mango melody, garden green and flirty flamingo from the colour coach to work with today for my creation.
I have used the spring trio of colours to create a floral card featuring the many layered blossoms die. I love how this die can create many different looks. If you are a regular reader of my colour creations posts, you may have noticed I have used this die on 3 other cards yet I think it still looks unique when I use it again and again.
I have die cut the two layers of the die in the following colours: early espresso and mango melody in the fine thin layer and the other layer in flirty flamingo and whisper white. I cut garden green cardstock in both layers of the dies. I took some time to create the inlaid die cutting technique as I love the look it gives and it provides a stand out design on the mango melody designer series paper.
As the card front is quite bright and bold, I decided to have this card as a blank/no sentiment card and also left in the inside of the card reasonably plain as well.
Is this a die set, you can see yourself creating with?

Ros the beautiful colour combination you've achieved on this card is so worth the time it has taken you to place all the tiny die cut pieces of card stock back into the main die. Thank you for inspiring us with your card creation tonight xx

A very striking design, Ros. I love the Mango Melody text paper in the background. I don't have the patience to work with these dies! LOL.

A perfect colour palette Ros and not one that I would ever have thought to use. I really love that you took the time to paper piece your floral diecut as the white really offsets the whole design. A stunning card.
