Our thirteenth colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "crushed curry" from the regals collection. I have chosen crushed curry, sahara sand and pool party from the colour coach to work with today for my creation.
Here is my crushed curry card from 2018.
For my card today, I decided to work with the split card front technique and I used the many layered blossoms die to split across the two card fronts. Using the adhesive sheets was big time saver in creating the two cards and made sticking the tiny pool party flower centres down A LOT easier!
I decided mirror the overall design yet make the two cards different. One into a birthday card and the other a thank you card. Again, I used my faux resin dots to finish off the two cards and add in some more crushed curry colour.

These are wonderful cards! It's a technique that I've really been wanting to try, and you're gorgeous cards have just given me a kick in the pants to do so!

I love that we used the same colour combination, but achieved vastly different looks. Great cards, Ros - and such patience, with the little details!

Great cards Ros! Gorgeous colour combination and I love how economical and handy that technique is, getting 2 cards with one die-cut (or in this case several die-cuts LOL). Nice!

Ros your cards are so lovely and what a stunning sentiment for the inside of your second card - I had totally overlooked this set and now I need it, LOL! Thank you for sharing your Crushed Curry inspiration with us this week xx

What a pretty & soft effect those colours have with the die, and love the way you've made two different cards from your split cards.

I have not been inclined to purchase the Many Layered Blossoms Dies at all Ros, until now. Your gorgeous colour palette and creative use of the die across the two cards has certainly opened my eyes to the possibilities of these dies. Thanks.

Love your cards Ros. I keep thinking I must use this bundle - you have inspired me to get it out. Love the ability to create 2 cards with the one set. The insides of your cards are gorgeous - great sentiments. xxx
