With all that’s happening worldwide at the moment the Art With Heart Team are here with a rainbow theme Creative Showcase to brighten your day.
Every month the talented ladies share their inspirational ideas in a monthly showcase and this month our projects are inspired by Rainbows.
For my card today, I have used the lovely brights family to create to a rainbow using the scrappy strip technique. I think it is a bright, fun card that is bound to cheer anyone's day especially the birthday recipient.
Like I mentioned above, I have used all the colours in the brights family and I have also used the silver foil and playful alphabet dies to spell out happy birthday with the inlaid die technique. I have finished off my card with some basic rhinestone jewels.

Inside card - I continued the rainbow scrappy strip technique on the inside only this time I didn't leave a gap between each colour and I also used the happiest of birthdays stamp for the sentiment.

Oooh, such a great card! The colours really pop with the black background. I love that you carried it over to the inside.

Ros, I have to say snap on the idea for this card - great minds think alike! I love how you've used the inlay technique to insert your silver happy birthday.

Wow! Beautiful card, Ros. Love the inlaid sentiment, and I particularly love how you inked the edges of each coloured strip on the front of your card - a simple detail that packs a real punch. Love this!

Such a bright happy card Ros, I love the strips of Cardstock and the silver greeting looks perfect for the card.

A really lovely bright and happy card, Ros. The sponging of colour on the edge of the coloured cardstock is so effective, and especially noticeable on the inside of the card.
