I'm back playing along with colour creations again this year with fellow team members of the Art with Heart team. I am hoping to get a lot more of the colours done that I did last year in 2018 (I thought it was last year!) but time will tell! I would also like to continue on with my own challenge from last year of using the colour coach again....
First up, we have balmy blue.
Here is my balmy blue card from 2018.
I created a watercolored background on shimmery white cardstock in both balmy blue and granny apple green and used this to die cut with the many layered blossoms die. I kept the "negative" pieces to add colour and fill in the die cut outline. Using the same die cut, I cut it out again but this time in night of navy and used the “outline” for my inlaid/popped up petals to rest in.
I finished off the card front with a sentiment from well said stamp set and some champagne rhinestone basic jewels.
I like this angle of the card as it shows the watercoloured card better
I kept the inside of the card very simple (with the front of the card having a "for you" sentiment) so it can be used for practically any occasion.
Catherine is hosting the colour creations blog hop each week and she has links for all the other ladies participating.

Ros your water coloured paper looks simply amazing - wow. And making that card must have been so time consuming but the end result is so worth it for such a stunning card.

I love your watercoloured card, Ros. And the addition of the rhinestones and the copper foil, makes such a pretty card. A lovely combination.
