Our twenty eighth colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is melon mambo from the brights collection. I have chosen melon mambo, mango melody and pool party from the color coach to work with today.
I've used the amazing new beauty abounds cling mount stamp set and butterfly beauty thinlets dies from the beauty abounds bundle from the upcoming occasions catalogue that is released on January 3rd, 2019. Isn't the butterfly thinlets amazing? I didn't on this card but in future, I will be die cutting the butterflies with the multipurpose adhesive sheets on the back (of the cardstock) to make them much easier to adhere in place, as sticking the finer details of the butterflies down was interesting!
I also used one of the many textured stamps from timeless textures to add some interest to the mango melody cardstock which is a great way to add the look of texture but without any bulk.
I've decorated the inside of the card using the larger of the two butterflies that I have trimmed down with my paper snips (so it is not so large!) I have left the inside sentiment free as with the card being a for you card, I wanted to keep it neutral for any occasion.
