Try it Thursday #22 - Stampin' Up! May Blessings Rain Down on You Card

I was asked to make a custom order card (very similar to the one pictured below at the end of this blog post) and this is what I came up with using my Stampin' Up! stash. 


I used a piece of vellum cardstock to tone down the designer series paper (from garden impressions designer series paper) and it allowed me to use a permanent marker to write my message using Ballada duo font. (I printed my message out on scrap paper and traced over it on the vellum as my handwriting is not that pretty!)

The vellum is held in place with tear and tape hidden behind the cloud and sun and the hand stitching in the bottom half of the card holds the remaining portion of the vellum down.
