Our third colour we are focusing on for the colour collections blog hop is "Bermuda Bay" from the brights collection. I have chosen bermuda bay, crumb cake and blushing bride from the color coach to work with today (and I snuck in some pacific point as well).
My youngest nephew turns one this week and is having a "somebunny is turning one" themed party. I couldn't resist and had to make him a bunny card. I made what I am calling a "faux quilt" card because I used a quilting pattern as the basis for my card. This technique is a great way to use up a bunch of your scraps! I did add a row of stitching around the perimeter of the card to "finish" it off.
I used the same font that my sister used on his invitations called Sue Ellen Francisco to finish the card off.
Close up
Inside the card I again used the Sue Ellen Francisco font to type the birthday message and used the same printed bunny image (from the front sentiment) in the corner. I made the bunny image bermuda bay using the HEX codes that Stampin' Up! shared recently.
Catherine is hosting the colour creations blog each week and she has links for all the other ladies participating.

OMG, that's just too adorable! What a great idea for using your scraps, but I think you're more patient than I would be!
