Yesterday, I shared the cards made in this months techniques class featuring the "Not Your Mother's Shaving Cream" technique.
For todays card, I took it one step further. I fussy cut the "fire" (after I coloured it with stampin' blends) 's that it wouldn't be cut off with the square stitched shape framelit and I used the background technique on the dinosaur and stamped over the image with the texture stamp from Butterfly Basics stamp set.
I stamped it once in lemon lime twist and twice in old olive (stamped off both times). I then fussy cut the dinosaur out and stuck it on top of another image I had stamped. I used bermuda bay and always artichoke stampin' write markers to colour in the "spikes" and wings on the base image (so I didn't have to fussy cut as many small tiny details.)
