Stampin' Up! Memories & More Scrapbooking

Since 2011, I have been taking photos and scrapbooking them pocket page style (Memories & More) and the best I have done in finishing a whole year is 6 months (with completed journaling). I am hoping that by blogging a page or more weekly, it will keep me accountable and get more of my families memories documented, hence my new weekly feature, Memories and More Monday.

I am using the kraft 6" x 8" album and variety pack 6" x 8" photo pocket pages. I do my best to take a photo each day (sometimes I use a screen shot if I have seen something online and like it). 

This week I have my front cover to share which also includes my photo for Jan 1st.

To create my title page I die cut "2018" in the wood textures designer series paper (DSP) using the large number framelits. I did this rather than die cutting the numbers from pick a pattern DSP so I could easily position the DSP under the numbers to display the portion of DSP I wished to use (I was aiming to line up the "squares" in the centre of each number).

This month, we celebrated my mum's 60th birthday. We had lots of extended family over as it was also a late Christmas gathering.
I was in charge of cake (cupcakes as they were a few younger kids) and making the card (no surprise there).
Being a special birthday, I pulled out my favourite design of late, a mini album card style featuring information for the persons year of birth. The sweet soiree speciality designer series paper (DSP) made putting the card together a breeze. With the pops of silver in the DSP, it certainly made for an elegant looking card.

Stampin' Up! 13th birthday memories & more scrapbook page with shaker card

Late last year my eldest daughter celebrated her 13th birthday. Using the fabulous new picture perfect party suite, I made short work of documenting her birthday party. I couldn't help myself and I had to have a play with a full sized (6 x 8) shaker page in between the invite and the group photo.

Stampin' Up! Christmas Theme ATC's

I've been very slack of sharing my ATC's of late, so I will have nearly a week in a row to share! Here is day 5:

Each month I am joining fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators in my team and we are making ATC's based on a theme. 10 themes for the 10 years that I will have been a Stampin' Up! demonstrator for (in September 2017). The theme for November was "Christmas".

Stampin' Up! Watercoloring Technique ATC's

I've been very slack of sharing my ATC's of late, so I will have nearly a week in a row to share! Here is day 3:

Each month I am joining fellow Stampin' Up! demonstrators in our greater team and we are making ATC's based on a technique. The theme for September/October was watercoloring technique. I used re inkers and aqua painters to get the rich deep colour on my ATC's.
