The Art with Heart Team ladies are selecting their favourite colour combinations to share with you tonight. Choosing the right colour scheme can be essential to your design and with Stampin’ Up!s stunning collection, there are 50 colours to choose from. You are bound to find a combination that work well together and you can take inspiration from.
You may have come to my blog from Kimberly Hern. Blog hops are full circles, so start blog hopping here and and the end of my post (and everyone else's) there is a link to the next post. I've also got a list of all 13 blog hop participants at the end in case of broken links.
My favourite colour combination that I have used for this blog hop features 3 colours from the brights range and two in colors (one from 2016-2018 & the other from 2017-2019).
I've made 3 cards using the above colour combination. First, I'll show you a snap shot of all 3 together and then scroll below to see more close up shots.
I made 2 backgrounds using 1/2 a sheet of A4 cardstock and they were the bases for my cards. I used all the colours from my chosen colour combination on the bases and then added additional stamping over the top of the "watercolored" style design.
Card 1
Card 2
Card 3 - Uses the negative portion from the happy birthday in card 2! Basically a few extra pieces of cardstock and I made a bonus card.
Which card is you favourite? I can't choose between 1 and 2...

Oh, you are so patient to glue down all those little pieces from the Happy Birthday die! The effort was worth it - the cards looks amazing. The backgrounds are fabulous.
