Welcome back for week 8 of the Heart of Christmas cards. This week, I have made a simple Christmas card featuring "Be Merry" designer series paper. Perfect to be used for mass producing as it is not very difficult to make. As always, the step by step instructions to recreate my card are at the end of this blog post.
Step by step instructions to create you own card (inches are in bold)
If desired ink all edges of cardstock/DSP etc. using coordinating inkpads and sponge daubers
1. Cut cherry cobbler cardstock 29cm x 10cm (11 7/16" x 4") & score at 14.5cm (5 6/8") and set aside
2. Cut crumb cake cardstock 14cm x 9.5cm (5 1/2" x 3 3/4") and set aside
3. Cut 4 pieces of be merry designer series paper 4cm x 5cm (1 5/8" x 2"), 5cm x 4cm (2" x 1 5/8"), 8.5cm x 5cm (3 5/8" x 2") & 5cm x 8.5cm (2" x 3 5/8")
4. Adhere be merry designer series paper to crumb cake cardstock using the image as a guide
5. Stamp and punch out Santa image from Cookie Cutter Christmas using basic black inkpad onto watercolor cardstock
6. Colour in Santa using preferred method
7. Stamp "Ho Ho Ho" from Oh, what fun stamp set onto whisper white cardstock 1cm x 7cm (6/16" x 2 3/4") and cut with a flag end
8. Using stamping dimensionals, pop up Santa image on the bottom left hand corner with the end of "ho ho ho" hidden under the right hand leg
9. Adhere crumb cake cardstock onto cherry cobbler card front
