Today I am participating in a blog hop along with the super talented ladies in the Art With Heart Team. We thought it would be fun to share some projects using our favourite retiring products from both the 2016 - 2017 annual and 2017 occasions catalogues.
Selected retiring products have discounts of up to 50% off but are only available until sold out. Be sure to place orders before the sun sets on these items on May 31st. You don’t want to miss out – ask me how!
You may have come to my blog from Catherine Proctor. Blog hops are full circles, so start blog hopping here and and the end of my post (and everyone else's) there is a link to the next post. I've also got a list of all 11 other blog hop participants at the end in case of broken links.
I've used the balloon adventures stamp set and co-ordinating framelits (which is also available as a bundle at a 10% discount) but are currently cheaper to purchase individually with the discounts that have Stampin' Up! have applied (with them being retiring products).
Close up
I've used the distressed glue technique and sponge daubers to create the inked cardstock that I die cut out using the balloon pop-up thinlet dies. I cut out an extra piece of the "banner" in whisper white cardstock to create the raised sentiment for the "party on" panel. I also used a piece of vellum cardstock to tone down the emerald envy cardstock (in the card background so it wasn't competing with the distressed glue panel.)

I've never heard of the distressed glue technique, but I love the gorgeous colourful panel that you've die-cut, Ros. This is a fabulous, fun, card.

Such a cool technique for your card, Ros! I'm very sad these stamps and framelits are retiring, as I feel I haven't used them enough.
