Stampin' Up! Gorgeous Grunge & Timeless Textures 13th Birthday Card

There is nothing like remembering to make a birthday card the night before a party and whipping it up from start to finish in less than an hour! That is what I did with today's card. Not having enough 13th birthday cards in my stash (especially for boys) I created this grunge-y looking number. It would be quite easy to make it a little more feminine with pinks/purples/orange/yellow/aqua also.

I stamped all colours at full strength except the tip top taupe. When I stamped it on the #13 I stamped off on scrap paper first before stamping the cross hatch design so it wasn't as strong and wouldn't compete with the other colours I used.

Did you notice, I used 3 of the 5 retiring in colors on this card? Tip top taupe, cucumber crush and watermelon wonder.
