Holiday Catalogue Blog Hop

Basketball Thank You Spinner Card

It's the end of the winter season for my children playing basketball and with 4 different basketball coaches I recycled a thank you card that I made last year. Version 1 can be found here. This is a slightly more updated version with the fabulous sliding star framelits making the card so simple to put together.

Here's hoping the spinning basketball at least adds a grin to the coaches faces.

Sustainability Fair Prizes

At my children's school, the grade 6 students take part in a sustainability fair. My daughter has made seed bombs as her sustainability project using up my Stampin' Up! cardstock scraps mixed with flower seeds. As she is having a quiz Miss N also wanted prizes to hand out and the seed bombs mixed with Stampin' Up! brown packaging paper (recycling, yay for sustainability) a doily and instructions made a cute combination don't you think?

We certainly had some mother daughter bonding time while I taught her how to use the sewing machine and how to package the prizes.

Doubled Pleated Techniques Class
